Lessons in Chemistry is a drama television show. It is an adaptation of the novel Lessons in Chemistry written by Bonnie Garmus. The show is produced by Apple Studios and distributed by Apple TV+. Six-time Emmy nominee, Lee Eisenberg is the showrunner. The series is written by Susannah Grant who is best known as the screenwriter behind Disney’s Pocahontas and the legal drama, Erin Brockovich.
Actress and activist Brie Larson is an executive producer on the show and also takes the lead role of Elizabeth Zott. Starring alongside her is Lewis Pullman, portraying scientist and love interest Calvin Evans. Award-winning actress, Aja Naomi King plays Harriet Slone, while veteran actor, Beau Bridges plays Wilson. Lessons In Chemistry Season 1 was released on Apple TV+ on October 13th, 2023.
